Common questions about Mesh.

General

What is Mesh? A way to swap tokens directly between Ethereum and Sui blockchains safely and with no gas fees.

Is it safe? Yes! Mesh uses atomic swaps - either both people get their tokens or nobody does. No way to lose money.

How much does it cost? Almost nothing! You only pay tiny transaction fees. No gas fees, no platform fees.

How long does a swap take? Usually 2-3 minutes. Sometimes longer if networks are busy.

Do I need an account? No! Just connect your wallets and start swapping.

Technical

What are atomic swaps? A way to trade where either both people get what they want, or the trade cancels and everyone gets their money back.

Who are resolvers? People who help complete swaps. They provide the tokens you want in exchange for yours, plus a small profit.

What if no one fills my order? Your money stays safe. You can cancel anytime and get it back.

Can I cancel a swap? Before someone fills it: Yes, anytime After someone fills it: No, it must complete

Wallets

Which wallets work?

• Ethereum: MetaMask

• Sui: Sui Wallet extension

Do I need both wallets? Yes, you need a wallet for each blockchain you're swapping between.

What if I don't have tokens? Get them from exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, or use faucets for testnets.

Errors

"Insufficient balance" You don't have enough tokens. Remember to keep some for transaction fees.

"Transaction failed" Could be network issues or wallet problems. Try again.

Swap stuck on "Pending" No resolvers available. Wait or try different amounts.

App won't connect to my wallet Refresh page, make sure wallet is unlocked, check you're on right network.

Safety

Can I lose my money? Very unlikely. Atomic swaps guarantee you either get what you want or your money back.

What if the website goes down? Your money is safe in smart contracts. You can still cancel/complete swaps directly.

Should I trust resolvers? You don't have to! Smart contracts enforce that they give you tokens or you get your money back.

Troubleshooting

Swap taking forever:

• Check both wallet connections

• Look at blockchain explorers for your transactions

• Wait for network congestion to clear

Can't connect wallets:

• Refresh the page

• Make sure wallets are installed and unlocked

• Check you're on the right network (testnet/mainnet)

Wrong amounts:

• Prices change constantly

• Your minimum setting might be too high

• Try refreshing and creating new swap
